Manage and Coordinate Training

Aim Of The Program
The purpose of this Training Program is to provide a learning opportunity for those who are involved in the motor insurance and automobile repair industry to acquire the knowledge and skills that will enhance their competencies, skills and efficiency to meet the needs and challenges of their duty and tasks of this demanding industry.

Participants will be able to use their knowledge to then manage policyholders, customers, and other industry stakeholders with their understanding of the industry practices and to understand the parts terminology. They will also be able to use their knowledge to underwrite motor risks, and ensure that repair estimates for damaged vehicles are fair, transparent, and sufficient for it to be safely repaired - using acceptable methodology, skills and equipment - before it is put back on the road.

LEVEL 1
Objectives
To enhance participants’ skills and technical knowledge to enable them to carry out their daily responsibilities, and for them to take advantage of these technologies and tools to improve their productivity.

To raise the level of self-confidence and technological skills of the participants who are involved in automobile claims servicing and support.

To provide an opportunity for automobile related industries, organizations, associations, clubs, schools, training institutes, and regulatory bodies to be more aware of public and private sector collaborations that would result in improved claims servicing, processing and data sharing.

To foster better co-operation and awareness amongst industry players to establish understanding and partnership that would be mutually beneficial.

To provide understanding and knowledge that would increase our industry’s competitiveness and recognition nationally, regionally, and internationally.

Introduction to Motor Insurance & MRC

  • Insurance – Cover and Documentation.
  • Industry Stakeholders.

Understanding Car Designs, Parts and Parts’ Terminology

  • Types of Car Designs and Materials Used.
  • Vehicle Body Part Descriptions – Panels & Service Parts.
  • Standardization on Parts Terminology.
  • Electronic Estimating and MRC’s CPC.
  • Data Integrity in Estimating.


LEVEL 2
Objectives
